| Subject: Rules Today at 15:07 | | | If you feel you have something to offer our family post here.
Before any new members shall be taken into the guild you must read and understand what we are about.
Wealth of Spirit was founded in Dark Ages of Camelot sometime in early 2007, We were at our height a successful and active guild at our with around 130 members (of whom 60 were active.)
We are not an elitist guild in any form we offer our members a variety of activities in Warhammer from RVR to Pq's.
It was a general concensus in DAOC that the guild was family friendly and to uphold that attitude took time and dedication from its members.
Obviously with being a new guild and new game the recruitment process can bring in some bad apples, usually in my experience it doesn't take long for people to show their true colors.
The guild rules are as follow;
1) HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1b) No begging in guild, if you require something then approach myself.
2) Swearing and other obscenities are to be kept to a minimum. Continued breach of these rules shall be be met with stiff opposition and the unfortunate removal from guild for repeat offenders.
My philosophy is;
if you have enough time to type it then u had enough time to think of what you were saying.
BARE in mind the person you are playing with could be of a younger age or easily take offence.
3) Guild officers are there to offer encouragement and guidance. Show them the respect they deserve as sometimes its a thankless task.
So dont always ask for an event to be run organise one yourself so we can join you.
4) We have included Vent into the guild and shall be using it on a mostly daily basis, Please sign up for this service it costs you nothing and the positives far outweigh the negatives. (Again see rule 2)
5) NO flaming abusing mocking or pestering of members/Guild is allowed, obviously there is a bit of banter in guild however insults of a personal nature shall not be tolerated.
6) Guild Inactivity is discouraged, those not participating in guild events shall receive a warning via the ingame mail system. Any members who are not logged in within a two week period shall automatically be removed from the guild.
I cannot stress enough how quickly a guild can die if its members refuse to chat, sometimes its hard when in the heat of the battle but the game offers a filtering system on its chat tabs, its suggested you take sometime filtering out some of the default settings to combat this.
As you can see we are very much a guild of different personalities but by adhering to the above rules it will make everyones job a little bit easier and allow us to play in a fun environment.
HI AND BYE
I have a personal issue with people not saying hi and bye in guild chat, in my experience to form unity in guild you need to socialise with other members, get to know your guild mates. Tell them about your experiences form friendships and personal alliances and we can all benefit from this. [u]
Thank you for your time on this matter if you agree to the above rules then post I agree in the link below this one.[b] |
